We researched a large number of WIFI modules when doing CSI-based human activity recognition, but most commercial WIFI modules are not open source, and it is difficult to adjust the parameters of the medium WIFI, which resulted in us not being able to further improve the improvement and utilization of CSI. Therefore, we hope to find an open source WIFI chip that allows us to customize some parameters.


Fortunately, there are already people exploring the field. Jiao Xianjun designed Linux mac80211 compatible full-stack IEEE802.11/Wi-Fi based on SDR (Software Defined Radio). This work only refers to his open source project openwifi to explore the principle of realizing WIFI IP in FPGA, and does not make further innovation.
